Bike Club Grads Wheel Thru Fair Haven

Very cool to see this come to fruition, even on this small scale. Joel LaChance (aka the Goatville Cyclesmith)--and others--have been beating a drum for in-school bicycle education for years. Congratulations to the ones who finally got through the wall and made it happen. On another note, why a motorcycle escort from the cops? Don't the PD also have a fleet of bicycles? I get the desire to have a safety escort but it would have been just as effective as well as quieter and less disruptive if the officers were cycling too.
